All grants approved for eligible cardholders are paid by check and you never have to pay them back.

Here are a few guidelines to help you narrow your selection. When you apply, additional factors from your application and credit history will be considered. You may meet the below criteria; however, you could still be declined. Please read through the product disclosures on the card application for more information about your eligibility.

Excellent Credit


If you have Excellent credit, both of these should describe you:
  • I have never declared bankruptcy or failed to pay back a loan.* I have not been more than 60 days late for any credit card payment or medical bill in the past year.
  • AND
  • I have had a credit card or loan for at least 3 years, and my credit limit is above $5,000.
If you have Excellent credit, one of these cards may be right for you:

Good Credit


If you have Good credit, either of these should describe you:
  • I have failed to pay back a loan* in the past 5 years. I'm not currently past due on any credit card payment, medical bill, or loan.
  • OR
